“My first priority is music. I like classical, I like baroque. I have chosen the second movement from the “Italian Concerto” by Johann – Sebastian Bach. The andante. There is a pas des deux – a man, a woman, in the centre, their relationship. The dance follows the rhythms of the music and yet is always surprising and unexpected, complicated and mysterious. Just as the couple, perhaps not even a couple, ” dance around” their relationship – in the conflict between power and balance, giving space and taking space”.
